SCALLOPED CELERIAC
Scalloped Cereliac is such an appealing and tasty microwave dish you can serve with your family! It looks so amazing once you take it from the microwave! It has its good smell plus the fact that it’s wholly packed with its irresistible ingredients!

Preparation Method :
- Put the bacon on a plate and cover with kitchen paper. Cook on Full for 3 minutes.
- Peel the celeriac thickly, wash well and cut each head into eight pieces. Place in a 9 cups dish with the lemon juice, water and salt.
- Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape.
- Cook on Full for 16 minutes, turning the dish 3 times or until its done completely. Drain. Slice the celeriac and return to the dish.
- Stir in the bacon and cream and sprinkle with the crisps. Cook uncovered, on Full for 6 minutes, turning the dish 3 times.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 lean rashers (slices) bacon,chopped
- 1 kg celery root
- 300 ml cold water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 250 ml single (light) cream
- 1 small bag potato crisps (chips), crushed in the bag
