ROMANIAN POLENTA

After a tiring work, you deserve enough to eat for Romanian Polenta! This palatable dish can fulfill your cravings! It has its exquisite appearance that makes it more attractive to anyone who sees it! There’s no other dish that can make your day complete other than Romanian Polenta!

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the polenta and salt in a 9 cups dish. Blend smoothly with the cold water.
  • Gradually mix in the boiling water or stock. Stand on a plate in case of spillage.
  • Cook, uncovered, on Full for 9 minutes until very thick, stirring 3 times.
  • Cover with a plate and allow to stand for 4 minutes before serving.
  • Beat in half the butter. Spoon equal mounds on to four warmed plates and make an indentation in each.
  • Fill with the eggs, sprinkle with the cheese and top with the remaining butter and the cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams Polenta
  • 75 grams butter    
  • 4 freshly poached large eggs
  • 100 grams Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 150 ml soured  cream
