PARSNIPS WITH EGG AND BUTTER CRUMB SAUCE

If you’re dead tired with the same dishes being prepared at home, better try to include Parsnips with Egg and Butter Crumb Sauce! This dish can be prepared in the microwave so afterwards you could gladly eat it! However, please include all its ingredients like parsnips, unsalted butter, water, egg, breadcrumbs and parsley!

Preparation Method :

  • Place the parsnips in a 6 cups dish with the water. Cover with clingfilm slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 8 minutes.
  • Meanwhile put the butter in a dish and melt, uncovered, on Defrost for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in the onions and cook uncovered, on Defrost for 3 minutes, stirring twice.
  • Mix in all the remaining ingredients and heat on Defrost for 20 - 30 seconds. Drain the parsnips and transfer to a warmed serving dish.
  • Coat with the crumb sauce and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams parsnips, diced
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 75 grams unsalted butter
  • 4 spring onions (scallions), finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons light-coloured toasted breadcrumbs
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, grated
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • Juice of ½ small lemon
