Preparation Method :
- Lay the pumpkin on a plate. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape.
- Cook on Full for 6 - 7 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Put on a plate with the skin underneath and flesh facing up.
- Top with butter or margarine, then coat with sugar or syrup for sweet pumpkin or salt and pepper for savoury.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams wedge of pumpkin in its skin, strands and seeds discarded
- Butter or margarine
- Demerara sugar or golden syrup
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
