BRAISED CELERY WITH BACON AND CHEESE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
9 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the celery in a 3 cups dish. Sprinkle with salt and add the water. Cover with clingfilm and slit it to allow steam to escape. Cook on Full for 6 - 7 minutes.
  • Allow to stand for 1 minute. Drain. Stir in the gammon and cheese. Clean the sides of the dish.
  • Sprinkle with the nuts. Cover and cook on Full for 2 minutes. Allow to stand for 30 seconds before eating.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams flesh celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon any chopped salted nuts
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 50 grams gammon, chopped
  • Salt
