BOEUF EN DAUBE
The boeuf en daube is a steak recipe. This is a perfect steak for all occasions. It is easy to prepare and the ingredients are healthy and affordable. In just an hour you could have the best and delicious steak in your meal.

Preparation Method :
- Place the steaks under a preheated hot grill and cook for 1 minute on each side.
- Transfer to a casserole and add all the remaining ingredients.
- Place m a preheated very hot oven for 15 minutes. By this time the casserole should be boiling.
- Reduce the oven. Cover and cook for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
- Remove all the fat from the top of the casserole.
- Replace in a preheated moderate oven for 1 hour, adding more stock if necessary.
- Serve immediately.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams rump steaks, trimmed of fat
- 6 lean bacon rashers, derinded and chopped
- 2 wine glass red wine
- 2 teaspoon chopped fresh mixed herbs
- 4 carrots, scraped and chopped
- 4 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 100 grams onions, peeled and sliced
- Strip of orange peel
- 500 ml beef stock
