GREEN AND BLACK BEAN STIR-FRY

Preparation Method :

  • Using a sharp knife, slice the fine green beans, shallots and shiitake mushrooms.
  • Crush the garlic in a pestle and mortar and shred the Iceberg lettuce.
  • Heat the chili oil and butter in a large preheated wok or frying pan (skillet).
  • Add the green beans, shallots, garlic and mushrooms to the wok and stir-fry for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Add the shredded lettuce to the wok or frying pan (skillet) and stir-fry until the leaves have wilted.
  • Stir the black bean sauce into the mixture in the wok and heat through, tossing gently to mix, until the sauce is bubbling.
  • Transfer the green and black bean stir-fry to a warm serving dish.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams fine green beans, sliced
  • 8 shallots, sliced
  • 200 grams shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 clove garlics, crushed
  • 2 Iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 2 teaspoons chili oil
  • 50 grams butter
  • 8 tablespoons black bean sauce
