BRAISED CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES

Preparation Method :
- Heat half the oil in a wok. Add garlic, ginger and shredded chicken. Stir-fry over high heat for 3 minutes.
 - Add soy sauce, sherry, sugar and salt. Simmer covered 1 minute. Remove from wok and set aside.
 - Heat remaining oil. Add onion, broccoli and mushrooms. Stir fry 2 minutes.
 - Add chicken and stock. Cook covered 2 minutes.
 - Stir blended corn flour and water into mixture until boiling.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 5 tablespoons Cooking oil
 - 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
 - 2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger root
 - 1 kg boned chicken breast, shredded
 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
 - 4 tablespoons dry sherry
 - 1 teaspoon sugar
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 2 onions cut in eights
 - 500 grams broccoli, broken into florets
 - 200 grams mushrooms, sliced
 - 500 ml chicken stock
 - 4 teaspoons corn flour blended with
 - 4 tablespoons water
