Preparation Method :
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan and lightly try the onion and parsley until soft.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, gradually add the milk, bring back to boil, stirring until the sauce thickens, boils and is smooth. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the nuts, soy sauce, tomato puree, breadcrumbs, eggs and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Divide into 8 and shape into rounds. Place under a grill for 4 minutes, then turn and grill for 4 minutes more.
- Serve with cheese sauce, tomatoes and parsley.
INGREDIENTS
- 15 grams butter
- ½ large onion, skinned and chopped
- 10 ml chopped fresh parsley
- 10 grams plain whole meal flour
- 100 ml fresh milk
- 150 grams chopped mixed nuts
- 10 ml soy sauce
- 10 ml tomato puree
- 100 grams fresh whole meal breadcrumbs
- ½ egg, beaten
- Pepper
