- Arrange the cheese slices in the bottom of; shallow ovenproof dish and spread the mustan top of them.
- Pour in enough brown ale to just cover the cheese, Cover with foil, then bake at 190°C (375°F) mark 5 for about 10 minutes, until the cheese has softened.
- Meanwhile, toast the bread. Pour the warm ale and Cheese over the toast.
- Serve immediately.

- 5 ml prepared English mustard
- About 120 ml brown ale
- 4 thick slices of wholemeal bread
