Preparation Method :
- Mix the flour, mustard and butter and blend it well. (Reserve 2 table spoon of butter for sautéing).
- Add the cheese. Knead it into dough with sufficient water.
- Roll out the dough and place it in an 8 inch flan tin.
- Bake it at 200°C for 15 minutes.
- Heat the reserved butter in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables until softened.
- Transfer it into the flan case.
- Combine the eggs, herbs and milk and pour into the flan.
- Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes or until set.
- Serve it hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 grams Plain flour
- 80 grams Butter
- 50 grams Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 clove of Garlic, crushed
- 1 red or green Pepper, seeded & chopped
- 1 Courgette(Zucchini) thinly sliced
- 1 Eggs, beaten
- ½ teaspoon Mustard powder
- ½ teaspoon Dried mixed herbs (choose the herbs as per taste)
- 150 ml Milk
- Cold water for making dough
