CHEESE AND CHIVE SCONES

Preparation Method :
- Combine the flour, salt and butter. Mix it well.
- Add the cheese (100 gram or half the quantity) and chives.
- Gently pour the milk and mix to form soft dough. Knead it until smooth texture appears.
- Roll out to about 1 or 1.5cm thick. Cut into many 5 cm round shaped scones.
- Brush the tops with milk.
- Place it on the baking sheets. In pre-heated oven, bake at 230°C for 7 - 10 minutes, until well risen and golden brown in colour.
- Garnish with the remaining cheese and serve it.

- 450 grams self-raising flour
- 100 grams butter, diced
- 200 grams cheese, grated
- 300 ml milk
- 2 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 2 tablespoon of milk for brushing
- Salt to taste
