Preparation Method :
- Put the meat in a large saucepan, preferably nonstick, over medium heat and cook in its own fat until beginning to brown.
- Add the onion and cook for a further 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the stock and Worcestershire sauce. Season to taste and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Put the self-raising flour, cornflour and suet in a bowl, then gradually stir in the milk to form a thick batter. Season well.
- Put the meat in a 1.1 litre pie dish. Cover with the batter mixture. Bake at 180°C (350°F) mark4 for about 30-35 minutes, until risen and browned.

- 300 ml beef stock
- 5 ml Worcestershire sauce

- 225 grams self-raising flour
- 25 grams cornflour
- 75 grams shredded beef suet
- About 300 ml fresh milk
