STRIPS OF BEEF IN WHISKY SAUCE

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Melt the butter in a medium frying pan. Add the beef strips and onion and cook for 5-10 minutes, until the beef is brown and cooked to taste.
  • Stir in the liqueur and cream. Heat gently to reduce slightly.
  • Serve at once with vegetables and brown rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 grams butter
  • 700 grams sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1 large onion, skinned and chopped
  • 75 ml whisky liqueur such as Drambuie
  • 75 ml fresh double cream
  • Salt and pepper
