THAI HOT-COLD SALAD

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel the orange, removing the pith and white membrane, and cut into thin slices. Line 2 plates with lettuce, arrange the orange slices on top and chill.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan (skillet) and fry the garlic until golden.
  • Add the pork and stir until brown and cooked through - about 5 minutes.
  • Add the peanuts, sugar, soy sauce, water, salt and cayenne to the pan and mix well.
  • Pour the hot pork mixture over the oranges and garnish with coriander.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large navel oranges
  • 4 crisp lettuce leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 700 gram cooked cold pork minced
  • 2 tablespoon finely chopped peanuts
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • Salt
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Coriander sprigs to garnish
