FRESH LEMON SPICY GRASS SHRIMP SALAD

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix the frying batter flour with water then add ½ cup of pounded dried shrimp and ½ teaspoon of salt. Blend the contents together gently.
  • Dip the shrimp into the prepared flour mixture and fry in hot oil (set heat to medium) until cooked and golden brown. Remove and rest to drain the oil.
  • Sprinkle the remaining dried shrimp and salt over the fried shrimp followed by lemongrass, lemon, peanuts and dried chili. Blend the contents together and place on a serving dish. Serve immediately.

 

INGREDIENTS

  •  300 grams Medium-sized fresh shrimps, peeled and deveined
  • 100 grams Instant frying batter flour    
  • 150 ml Water    
  • 100 grams Dried shrimp, pounded        
  • 100 grams Lemongrass, slivered    
  • 100 grams Roasted peanuts    
  • 50 grams Lemon, diced into small cubes (with skin)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground salt    
  • Roasted dried bird chili as desired
  • IDHAYAM Mantra Peanut oil for frying
