FERMENTED SOYBEANS IN COCONUT CREAM TAO- JIJAO LON

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil and fry the chopped onions till translucent. Mix in the fermented beans and put off the heat.
  • Add to a pan with 2 cups of water and adjust seasoning with salt to taste.
  • Add the tamarind juice, sugar, chillies and the chopped mushrooms. Bring to boil and cook till the desired thickness is reached. Serve as a soup.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams chopped onions
  • 125 grams mushrooms - chopped
  • 4 teaspoons tamarind juice
  • 50 grams palm sugar
  • 3 chillies
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • Salt to taste

Soy Mixture - Ground to Coarse Paste

  • 250 grams fermented soya beans
  • 200 ml coconut milk
