BRAISED SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS IN SOY SAUCE

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • With a towel, clean the mushrooms thoroughly, trim away hard stalks and put aside.
  • Preheat the oil in a pan over medium. Fry mushrooms for 3 - 4 minutes, remove and drain.
  • Drain off the oil and leave in the frying pan.
  • Return fried mushrooms to the pan, toss with light soy sauce, seasoning sauce and half of pepper.
  • Add small amount of water and stir well. Put a cover on for a few minutes to let the mushrooms absorb the seasoning.
  • Sprinkle the remaining pepper and turn off the heat.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve with green ork leaves, cucumber and tomato.

  • 500 grams shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 liter Cooking Oil
  • 2 teaspoons light soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons seasoning sauce
  • 2 teaspoons pepper 
  • Coriander leaves for garnish 
  • green ork leaves, cucumber and tomato sliced
