Preparation Method :
- Wash chayote well and drain.
- Place a work of oil over high heat until the oil is very hot.
- Add garlic and hot chilies, stir quickly.
- Add in chayote, season with light soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and add some water or stock.
- Stir-fry quickly and remove from the heat.
- Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle fried garlic over the top.
- Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams chayote, cut into sections about 5 - 6" from the tip
- 5 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 10 cloves Thai garlic, peeled and crushed
- 15 red and green hot chilies, bruised
- 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegetarian oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 100 ml water or vegetable stock
- 2 teaspoons fried garlic
