SHRIMP PASTE CHILI SAUCE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Fry the mackerel in hot oil (set heat to medium) until golden yellow. Rest to drain oil and arrange on a plate.
  • Wrap the shrimp paste in banana leaf and roast until aromatic.
  • Pound the garlic and chili until smooth then add the shrimp paste. Pounnd together.
  • Add the shrimp and pound the contents together then add the coconilla fruits. Season with lemon juice, palm sugar and fish sauce. Taste then spoon into a bowl. Serve with the fried mackerel and fresh or boiled vegetables as desired.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoon Shrimp paste
  • 2 tablespoon Dried shrimp, finely pounded
  • 2 tablespoon Small garlic cloves
  • 5 Coconilla fruits, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Fish sauce
  • 5 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Palm sugar
  • 15 Bird chilies
  • 4 mackerel, boiled
  • IDHAYAM Mantra peanut oil for frying
  • Assorted fresh or vegetables as desired
