STEAMED FISH WITH GINGER
The Steamed Fish is a unique dish with different tastes. Fish and a variety of Vegetables with Ginger, all of this will leave you with a special culinary experience. This is a great dish for parties.

Preparation Method :
- Make sure to clean and wash the Fish thoroughly. Sprinkle the Fish with the Ginger, the Mushrooms, the Bacon, the Spring Onions, the Soy Sauce and the Pepper. Then place the Fish in a deep plate slightly larger than the Fish. Use a plate that will fit on the rack of a traditional bamboo steamer or a wok.
- Fill the steamer or the wok with water, cover it and bring it to boil on a high heat. Set the rack or basket over the boiling water. Cover and steam it for 15 - 20 minutes (depending on the variety and size of the fish).
- Then remove the Fish from the steamer and place it on a warm serving plate. Garnish it with Coriander Leaves and Chilli Slices and serve with Jasmine Rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 kgs of cleaned, scaled, gutted and washed Whole Fish (Pomfret, Plaice, Snapper, Sea Bass)
- 2.5 inches of finely shredded Fresh Root ginger
- 75 Grams of thin sliced Button Mushrooms
- 75 Grams of thin strips of Smoked Bacon
- 6 Spring Onions cut in 1 inch pieces
- 3 Tablespoons of Light Soy Sauce
- A Pinch of Ground White Pepper
As Garnishment
- Coriander leaves
- A few slices of Red Chilli
