GINGERED CARROTS

Preparation Method :

  • Place the carrots in a saucepan and cover with the orange juice and stock.
  • 0Add the spices and salt and pepper, bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 20 minutes until tender.
  • 03Drain off any excess liquid, and then turn into a heated serving dish.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 500 ml orange juice
  • 500 ml chicken stock
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground mace
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
