SKIRLIE-MIRLIE

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the Swede (rutabaga) and potatoes separately in boiling salted water; drain well.
  • Heat the fat in a pan, add the Swede (rutabaga) and potatoes and mash well, adding enough milk to give a creamy texture.
  • Add salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Spoon into a heated serving bowl and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.

  • 500 gram Swede, diced
  • 700 gram potatoes
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 100 gram butter or bacon dripping
  • Little milk
  • Finely chopped parsley to garnish
