Preparation Method :
- Pour half the melted butter into a small shallow ovenproof casserole dish.
- Arrange the asparagus in the dish and top with the cheeses, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with the breadcrumbs and spoon over the remaining butter.
- Cook in a preheated moderate oven (180°C / 350°F, Gas Mark 4) for 20 minutes, until piping hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 gram butter, melted
- 500 gram asparagus spears, drained
- 50 gram Parmesan cheese, grated
- 100 gram Cheddar cheese, grated
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 50 gram fresh breadcrumbs
