SCALLOPED ONIONS

Preparation Method :
- Cut the onions into thin slices. Arrange in a shallow baking dish or casserole.
 - Sprinkle the onions with salt, pepper and poppy seeds.
 - Put the cheese and milk in a small pan and stir over a low heat until smooth. Stir in the parsley.
 - Pour the sauce over the onions, cover the dish, and cook in a preheated moderate oven (180°C / 350°F, Gas Mark 4) for 1 hour.

- 700 gram onions
 - Salt and freshly ground pepper
 - 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
 - 100 gram cream cheese
 - 8 tablespoons milk
 - 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
