BUTTERED COURGETTES (ZUCCHINI)

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Wash and trim but do not peel the courgettes (zucchini). Grate the courgettes (zucchini).
  • Toss with a little salt and leave for 30 minutes in a colander or sieve to drain, then rinse under cold water.
  • Fold the watercress or lettuce through the courgettes (zucchini).
  • Melt the butter in a pan and, when it is foaming, put in the vegetables and toss with two forks over a medium heat.
  • When very hot, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
  • Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 gram courgettes 
  • Salt 
  • 50 gram watercress or lettuce, shredded 
  • 50 gram butter 
  • Freshly ground pepper 
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
