CORN AND BUTTER BEAN CASSEROLE

Preparation Method :

  • Drain the sweet corn, reserving the liquid. Place the sweet corn and butter beans in a saucepan.
  • Mix the corn flour and skimmed milk together and heat gently.
  • Add the liquid from the can of sweet corn and stir until the mixture thickens.
  • Add the caraway seeds and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour the sauce over the vegetables, cover and cook for about 15 minutes, then turn into a heated serving dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams sweet corn kernels
  • 750 grams butter beans, drained
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour scant
  • 1 liter skimmed milk
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
