PURPLE CABBAGE SLAW WITH RAISINS

Preparation Method :

  • Finely grate cabbage and onion. Soak raisins in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften. Drain and set aside.
  • Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, and milk in a small bowl; whisk with a fork to combine. Add sugar, salt, and pepper to taste. Toss cabbage, onion, and raisins with mayonnaise mixture.
  • Serve at once on chilled salad plates or bowls. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 head purple or green cabbage
  • 1 white onion
  • 50 grams raisins
  • 100 ml mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoon full-cream or low-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
