BRAISED BEAN CURD AND VEGETABLES

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok, swirling to coat the surface. Add the garlic and fry for 10 seconds.
  • Add the vegetables and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add the stock, cover and simmer for 1 minute longer.
  • Mix the oyster sauce, soy sauce and sherry. Add to the wok. Stir and simmer. Mix the corn flour with cold water.
  • Add to the wok, stirring until it boils and thickens. Add the bean curd, heat through and serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
  • 500 grams mixed vegetables
  • 125 ml Chicken Stock
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoons corn flour
  • 500 grams fresh bean curd, sliced
