Preparation Method :
- Place the onion, pepper and broccoli in a saucepan of boiling water.
- Cover and cook for about 15 minutes until tender.
- Mix the corn flour with the skimmed milk. Pour into a saucepan and heat gently, stirring.
- Add cheese and, when thickened, add the nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the drained broccoli and pepper mixture to a heated gratin dish and pour over the sauce.
- Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and place under a hot grill until the cheese melts.

- 2 medium sized onion, peeled and sliced
- 2 green pepper, cored, deseeded and sliced
- 1 ½ kg broccoli
- 4 tablespoons corn flour
- 1 liter skimmed milk
- 200 grams Cheddar cheese, grated
- Pinch of grated nutmeg
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
