STEAK IN PLUM SAUCE
The steak in plum sauce is loaded with perfect ingredients that suit to your food cravings. With its plum sauce, the dish appears more palatable and enticing. Every piece of steak is tendered with tasty seasonings and other added elements that add ups to its perfect taste.

Preparation Method :
- Remove any fat from the beef. Cut across into 6 slices. Flatten slices with the blade of a cleaver.
- Mix soy sauce, sherry, ginger and garlic. Place the beef in a bowl and pour the mixture over, turning slices so that they are well coated.
- Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Slice the spring onions into bite-sized pieces. Heat a wok, add half the oil and swirl to coat the surface.
- When hot fry 3 slices of beef, pressing against wok to brown both sides. Remove and reserve.
- Add the remaining oil and cook the remaining beef. Add the spring onions, return first 3 slices of meat and toss briefly.
- Stir in plum sauce with water and heat through. Serve on a bed of finely shredded lettuce.

- 500 grams fillet or other tender steak
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 6 spring onions
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons plum sauce
- Finely shredded lettuce
