STEAK AU POIVRE
This is a very common recipe for a steak. It doesn’t need more time to be prepared because the meat is just grilled. You will put much effort on the sauce. As for the sauce the taste of brandy and yogurt will mix up to make the steak au poivre magnificent.

Preparation Method :
- Preheat the grill to high.
- Coat the steaks with the crushed peppercorns, pressing them in well.
- Brush the steaks with the margarine and place.
- To make the sauce, place the yogurt in a saucepan and stir in the brandy and salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat gently without allowing to boil, and then pour over the steaks.
- Garnish with watercress sprigs and serve immediately.
INGREDIENTS
- 8 sirloin steaks, each about 200 grams, trimmed
- 8 tablespoons black peppercorns, crushed
- 4 teaspoons margarine melted
Sauce
- 300 grams cartons plain low-fat yogurt
- 4 tablespoons brandy
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Watercress sprigs, to garnish
