GREEN PEPPERCORN STEAK

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat a griddle, cook the steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side, then remove from the pan and keep warm.
  • Add the green peppercorns, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and cherry tomatoes to the pan.
  • Saute for about 2-3 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft.
  • Spoon the sauce over the steaks and garnish with thyme. Serve with potatoes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams lean fillet steaks
  • 10-12 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 50 ml light soy sauce
  • 1½ teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon green peppercorns in brine, drained
  • Thyme sprigs, to garnish
  • Potatoes, to serve
