Preparation Method :
- The Sauce: Put the passata in a saucepan with the ground spices and chopped ginger. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
 - Stir in the coconut milk and cook for 2 more minutes. Add the lemon juice, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
 - Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the tuna and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.
 - Serve with plain Basmati Rice and the remaining sauce in a separate bowl.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 350 ml thick coconut milk
 - ½ inch piece of ginger, finely chopped
 - 250 ml passata (sieved tomatoes)
 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil
 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
 
Ground Spices
- ½ teaspoon chilli powder
 - ½ teaspoon cumin powder
 - ½ teaspoon coriander powder
 
Marinade, Cover and Marinate the Fish For About Half An Hour
- 25 grams chopped fresh coriander
 - 750 grams steaks, rinsed, drained, rubbed with lemon juice, rinsed and pat dried
 - Juice of 2 lemons
 - 1 teaspoon black mustard seeds
 - 2-3 red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
 - ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
 - Grated rind of 1 lemon
