FILLET STEAK WITH CORN & RICE FRITTERS

Craving for something new? Try fillet steak with corn and rice fritters. This dish is a perfect combination of healthy foods and ingredients like sweet corn niblets, fillet steaks, flour, milk, eggs and other extra components that astonish your everyday meal.

Preparation Method :

  • To make fritters sift the flour and salt into a bowl.
  • Make a well, place a whole egg and an egg yolk in the well and mix them with wooden spoon.
  • Gradually add the milk and oil to it , then let the batter rest for 30 -40 minutes.
  • Whisk the egg white until stiff and fold it into the batter.
  • When you are ready to serve the steak, add the sweet corn and rice to the batter, blend the mixture.
  • Take tablespoon out little balls into hot oil and cook until it turns golden brown.
  • Lightly coat the fillet steaks with the curry paste, season and grill it to your liking, and serve with the corn and rice fritters.

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams sweetcorn niblets
  • 100 grams cooked rice
  • 4 x 220 grams fillet steaks
  • 2 tablespoons mild curry paste
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Oil for deep-frying

For the fritter batter

  • 150 grams plain flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 270 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
