STUFFED FIGS

Preparation Method :

  • Cut out 8 squares of aluminium foil. Make a small slit in each fig, place each fig on a square of foil.
  • Put the cream cheese in a bowl. Add the cinnamon and stir until well combined.
  • Stuff the inside of each fig with the cinnamon cream cheese, then sprinkle about a teaspoon of sugar over each one. Close the foil around each fig to make a package.
  • Place the packages on the barbecue and cook over hot coals, turn frequently for about 5 - 7 minutes.
  • Transfer the figs to serving plates and garnish with fresh mint.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 fresh figs
  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Sprigs of fresh mint, to garnish
