VEGETABLE ROLLS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the French beans, carrots and potatoes till all the moisture evaporates and the vegetables are slightly tender.
  • Mash them slightly while hot. Add the garam masala powder, chilli powder, dried mango powder and salt. Mix well.
  • Soak the bread slices in water for a couple of seconds and then squeeze out thoroughly. Add to the vegetables. Mix well and shape into long thick rolls.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Coat the rolls with the semolina and deep-fry over medium heat till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 French beans, finely chopped
  • 3 medium carrots, finely chopped
  • 3 large potatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried mango powder
  • 6 bread slices
  • 100 grams semolina
  • Green Chutney
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying
