Preparation Method :
- Process eggs with prawns, garam masala and chili until smooth.
- Stir egg mixture, sifted flour and baking powder with onion, celery, garlic, corn and capsicum in large bowl.
- Spoon the mixture into oil; spread into flat rounds, shallow-fry until golden brown. Remove fritters from oil and drain. Serve with sauce.
- Sauce Stir flour in small saucepan over low heat until lightly browned. Stir in sugar; cook over low heat until sugar begins to melt.
- Gradually stir in the water; stir until mixture boils and thickens to sauce consistency.
INGREDIENTS
- 75 grams stick celery, finely chopped
- 150 grams king prawns, shelled
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 150 grams can corn kernels, drained
- 1 medium green capsicum, chopped finely
- 2 eggs
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 small fresh red chillies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Peanut oil for shallow-frying
- Salt, to taste
The Sauce
- 150 ml water
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoons dark soy sauce
