Preparation Method :
- Put the egg and milk into a small bowl and beat with a fork.
- Add the flour and baking powder and beat until smooth. Stir in the sweet corn, cheese and chives.
- Heat a little oil in a frying pan and drop either teaspoonfuls or tablespoonfuls of the batter into it.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until the fritters are puffed up and golden.
- Drain on kitchen paper.
- Serve with the extra sweet corn and mini carrot sticks.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 egg
- 300 ml milk
- 200 grams plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 150 grams canned sweet corn kernels without salt or sugar, drained, plus extra to serve
- 6 tablespoon grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoon snipped fresh chives
- 4 teaspoon IDHAYAM sesame oil, for frying
- Mini carrot sticks, to serve
