- Place the liver sausage in a bowl and blend in half the butter and the cream cheese. Stir in the cream, lemon juice or sherry, onion salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
- Spoon into two individual small dishes and smooth over the tops. Cover each dish with a layer of melted butter and chill for 30 minutes before serving with midget gherkins (dill pickles) and hot toast.

- 50 grams cream cheese
- 2 tablespoon cream
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice or dry Sherry
- Onion
