CREAM OF CAULIFLOWER

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the pan with butter and add in the onion sauté for about 2 minutes, Add in the flour. Stir them well so that the flour is blended well into the butter.
  • Add 3 cups of milk, sour cream or yogurt and stir them well. Whisk them well until the mixture is thickened.
  • Drain the steamed cauliflowers and blend them in a mixer until they become smooth.
  • Add the pureed cauliflower mixture to the milk mixture and stir well until it becomes slightly thick.
  • Simmer to low heat or until it is done completely. Garnish it with chopped parsely and serve along with Parmesan cheese.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 ml sour cream or plain yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons  butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons  flour
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets, Steam
  • Chopped parsley for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese
