Preparation Method :
- Melt the butter in a pan, add the onion, carrot, celery, salt, paprika and dry mustard and fry, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Blend in the flour, cook for 1 minute, then stir in the chicken soup and milk.
- Bring the chowder to the boil, stirring, then simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cheese, cook for 1 minute, and then serve with warm French bread.
- Serve immediately.
