PUMPKIN AND PEPPER SOUP

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the pumpkin with garlic and the chicken stock in a soup pan for about 10 minutes.
  • Then add the red pepper and simmer to low flame for about a minute.
  • Allow it to cool; puree in a blender and put it back into the pot.
  • Stir in the cream with Tabasco sauce and adjust seasoning.
  • Reheat the soup over low heat, stirring constantly. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams pumpkin, peeled, cut into cubes
  • 550 ml chicken stock
  • 100 grams cream
  • 1 red pepper, chopped 
  • 4-6 cloves garlic, peeled 
  • A dash of Tabasco sauce 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
