QUICK FRY SUPPER

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the ham for 3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and leave on one side. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Remove pan from heat and gradually add the mustard, Worcestershire sauce and milk. Heat, stirring, until the sauce thickens.
  • Add the ham, green beans, potatoes and cheese and heat through gently until the cheese melts. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer to two warmed serving plates and garnish with the green pepper rings.
  • Serve with crusty fresh bread.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 400 grams ham, diced
  • 4 tablespoons plain flour
  • 4 tablespoons mild made mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce
  • 600 ml milk
  • 500 grams cooked potatoes, sliced
  • 100 grams gruyere cheese, sliced
  • Salt and pepper
  • Green pepper rings to garnish
