STIR-FRIED PRAWNS
The stir fried prawns and Chinese greens perfectly match to your regular meals. This dish includes large raw prawns, dry sherry, corn flour, chicken stock, flowering cabbage and other flavorings. With great combination of tasty ingredients, you can’t easily defy its every bite.

- Shell and devein the prawns. Cut the choy sum into bite-sized pieces, using the thick stems and only the tender part of the leaves.
- In a small bowl combine the stock, soy sauce, five- spice powder and sherry. Mix corn flour with 2 tablespoons cold water.
- Heat the oil in a wok. Add the garlic, ginger and cabbage and fry for 2 minutes over a high heat, stirring constantly.
- Add the prawns and fry until pink. Lower the heat to medium, add the mixed seasonings. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the corn flour mixture and stir until the sauce boils and thickens, about 1 minute. Serve at once.

- 750 grams large raw prawns
- 3 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 choy sum (flowering cabbage)
- 2 teaspoons corn flour
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 185 ml Chicken Stock
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons finely grated
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- Fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
