SHREDDED, STIR-FRIED POMFRETS

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger and garlic paste and saute till brown.
  • Add onions and green chilies. Fry till brown.
  • Add coconut, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, lemon juice, vinegar and salt. Cook on slow fire for 5 minutes.
  • Add fish and stir gently till the fish is done. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Pomfrets(medium-sized), washed, shredded
  • 3 tablespoon cooking oil for frying
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger  paste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic  paste
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 Green chilies, sliced
  • 300 grams Coconut fresh, grated
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
