Preparation Method :
- Boil the fish in 2 cups of water with the bay leaf, peppercorns and celery. Strain and reserve the stock.
- Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the onion and garlic. Add the tomato, fry for 2 more minutes.
- Sprinkle the flour, add the stock with pepper, salt and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the fish and prawns and cook till tender.
- Keep the toasted bread pieces in individual serving bowls, pour the hot soup on top and garnish with chopped parsley and serve at once.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams Prawns shelled, deveined and washed
- 6 Fish fillets cleaned and rinsed
- 1 Onion chopped
- 3 teaspoon Butter
- 1 Tomato blanched and chopped
- A little Celery chopped
- 1 tablespoon Flour
- 6 Peppercorns
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 6 Bread slices cut into 4 pieces each and toasted
- Salt to taste
- Parsley to garnish
