RICH FISH PATTIES

Preparation Method :

  • Combine together the flour, oil, baking powder with a pinch of salt and knead a smooth pliable dough. Keep aside for about half an hour.
  • Combine all the ingredients for the filling and mix well. Divide the dough and filling into 8 equal portions.
  • Shape each ball of dough into a hollow cup, place one portion of the filling in each and close the edges perfectly, with wet hands to prevent spilling out.
  • Grease a baking tray and place the patties on it one by one. Brush each patties with beaten egg, sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake in a hot oven till crisp and golden.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams Flour    
  • 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder    
  • Cold water to mix
  • 1 Egg (beaten)    
  • Grated cheese to sprinkle
  • Salt to taste

The Filling

  • 150 grams Fish, cleaned washed, boiled, deboned and flaked
  • 150 grams Potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 30 grams Grated Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Thick white sauce
