Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Saute cardamoms and bayleaf.
- Add ginger and garlic pastes and saute for a minute.
- Add red chilli paste and coriander powder. Stir-fry for another minute and remove from heat.
- Add all the other ingredients except for lemon juice, together with the fish.
- Transfer this mixture to an oven-proof dish. Cover and seal the dish with dough.
- Place the dish in an oven at low temperature and allow to cook for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle lemon juice over the fish.
- Serve hot, accompanied by steamed rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Fish cut into boneless cubes
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 4 Green cardamoms
- 1 Bay leaf
- 1½ teaspoon Ginger, paste
- 1½ teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli paste
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoon Yellow chilli powder
- 2 teaspoon Poppy seed paste
- 2 tablespoon Cashew nut paste
- 2 tablespoon Brown onion paste
- 250 grams Yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon Juice
