Preparation Method :
- Blend all the ingredients to smooth paste except oil, onion and capsicum.
- Pour the marinade over the prawns; mix well. Cover; refrigerate several hours, stirring occasionally.
- Heat oil in a frying pan; stir in onion and capsicum. Stir until onions are soft.
- Stir in prawn mixture; stir over high heat for about 2 minutes or until prawns are tender.
INGREDIENTS
- 950 grams uncooked king prawns, shelled and deveined, leaving heads and tails intact
- 320 grams brown onions, sliced
- 150 grams green capsicum, sliced
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 100 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 50 ml brown vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
